bows for stringed instruments for over 25 years. |

Through attention to detail, consistent high quality and a refusal to compromise, his work has been recognised the world over as representing the very best in the craft. His training, qualifications and experience leave him uniquely placed to offer unrivalled expertise, quality and service for all bow requirements. After completing an Honours Degree in Engineering Science at Durham University, John worked as a Racing Boat builder before joining the prestigious firm of W.E.Hill & Sons in1977. He rose to the position of Senior Bowmaker and left to work for himself in 1983. He has been based in Bristol since 1989. John is a member of the ISVB (EILA). He also subscribes to and supports the aims of the International Pernambuco Conservation Initiative (Comurnat). |
